Silver plated bronze, black-and-white enamelled, 2.5 cm. The matches in the German tennis league are called the Medenspiele (English: Meden games) in honor of Carl August von der Meden (1841-1911), the former president of the German Tennis Federation. They were German District Championships, their history dated back to the post war era. From 1933 to 1944 instead of districts the championships were played in "Gaue" (regions/provinces), from 1948 on the championships were played in regional associations. Slightly tarnished.
