Original gymnastics sash which belonged to a Swiss gymnast. Decorated with 72 badges from various gymnastics events from 1927 to 1977, including Olympic Games 1952 and 1964, Swiss championships, gymnastics festivals and regional Swiss gymnastics events. All badges are silver plated, some are enamelld. Length of the sash 120 cm, width 5.5 cm. Sashs like this are worn across the chest at official events. From the estate of a Swiss gymnast who was active for ovbere 50 years. Extraordinary piece. One badge is missing, one is loose.
